What people ask us most often

How much does printing cost?
A black-and-white A4 page starts at 0,89 Kč. Each print shop in the network sets its own price list – after you upload your files, we calculate the exact price at every shop that can print your order. Tiskárník adds no markup; see the current overview on the pricing page.
How do I pay?
Directly to the print shop on pickup – in cash or by QR bank payment. No money ever goes through Tiskárník.
What files can I upload?
PDF, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx) and images (JPG, PNG, GIF). For PDFs we count the pages automatically.
How fast will my prints be ready?
In-person pickup is usually possible shortly after the print shop accepts your order. For locker or home delivery, you see the expected number of days next to each option before you order.
Can I print sustainably?
Yes – many print shops offer recycled paper; you will find it in the filters and in the print settings. Read more about eco-friendly printing.
What if my document has only a few colour pages?
We detect colour pages in PDFs automatically. If you pick colour printing, only the pages that actually contain colour bill at the colour rate – the rest prints at the black-and-white price.

Who is behind Tiskárník?

During high school and university I realised how many of my friends did not have a printer at home. They kept asking me to print things for them, and I did not want them paying a fortune at a copy centre when it could be done cheaper and faster. So at the end of 2021, I launched the first version of Tiskárník.

Today Tiskárník is no longer a single print shop – it is a network of print shops and copy centres growing across Czechia. Each one sets its own prices, you choose by price and distance, and we never add anything on top.
